To promote trade between Pakistan and the Philippines, the International Business Council has established the Pakistan Philippines Business Forum in partnership with the Embassy of Philippines. The objective of this forum is to facilitate business ventures and to better understand the regulatory and compliance policies of both countries to enhance imports and exports. The key sectors are cement, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and textile.

As part of the Pakistan Philippines Business Forum, CEO of the International Business Council, Sheikh Hammad Amjad, took part in a Joint Economic Committee Meeting that discussed bilateral trade promotion between Pakistan and Philippines. The event was held on 28th February, 2018 and an MoU was also signed, affirming commitment to boosting trade between the two nations.
